Tintswalo Safari

Tintswalo Safari is a five-star lodge in the Manyeleti Nature Reserve, which shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sands and Timbavati. Manyeleti, the Place of the Stars in Shangaan, covers 24,000 hectares of savannah, river ravines, marshland and hills, and has one of the lowest vehicle densities in the Greater Kruger.

The lodge has six Explorer Suites, each named after a nineteenth-century explorer and each with its own plunge pool, along with two larger suites for families and groups. The Grant Suite has two en-suite bedrooms around an interleading lounge and plunge pool, with a private vehicle and guide. The Baines Presidential Suite adds its own boma, private chef and butler.

Stays are full board with two safari activities a day, house drinks, the minibar, laundry and wifi. Game drives and bush walks search for the Big Five, cheetah and wild dog, and guests can join conservation work such as rhino dehorning and hyena collaring when it takes place. There is a spa at the lodge.
