Klipdrift Sands Game Lodge is a private game lodge in the Dinokeng bushveld, bordering the Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve and about 30 minutes from O.R. Tambo International Airport. Set among free-roaming wildlife, the lodge offers a range of self-catering holiday homes, chalets and bush cabins; each with its own character and most with a private pool and braai. Days are spent on bush walks, mountain-bike trails and at the lookout point, with excellent birding (Giant Kingfisher, Fish Eagle and Malachite Kingfisher among them) and the chance of Big 5 sightings. Outdoor massages and animal-feeding experiences round out an easy, unforgettable bushveld getaway close to Pretoria.
