Tintswalo Scops Rest

Tintswalo Scops Rest is an exclusive-use bush villa in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger and open to the Kruger National Park, between Balule and Timbavati. It sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms, with a spacious lounge, a large patio and a private pool overlooking the bush.

A private chef and butler look after the house, and two safari activities a day run in the villa's own ten-seater vehicle with its own guide. Klaserie is a 60,000-hectare non-profit reserve that funds anti-poaching and community work through tourism, and its wildlife moves freely to and from the Kruger: the Big Five, wild dog, cheetah and more than 300 bird species.

For a night closer to the wild, two treehouse sleep-out decks, 30 to 40 minutes from the villa, can be booked separately, with premium linen, mosquito nets, lantern light, electricity and a private bathroom.
